Meet the Team of One
I’m Kristy, your CVT VTNE Tutor! My experiences over the last six years in veterinary medicine have been quite the wild ride…and I can’t imagine it any other way!
In 2021, after three challenging years of balancing full-time hospital work, academics, and personal life, I earned my Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology (VT). I passed the VTNE® exam on my first attempt, became licensed, and have since gained experience in various veterinary settings, including small animal general practice, emergency care, and ophthalmology. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Western Illinois University (2001).
I'm passionate about tutoring students, veterinary assistants, and technicians preparing for the VTNE®. It's incredibly rewarding to connect with individuals across the U.S. and Canada and empower them to succeed on this challenging exam through personalized guidance and effective study strategies.
I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to pursue your education while working full-time in a veterinary setting. Having navigated this demanding path myself allows me to connect with students and technicians on a deeper level, and provide the support they need to succeed.
I remember the pride I felt after passing the VTNE®, and I'm dedicated to helping those I tutor experience that same feeling. Licensure opens doors to so many opportunities, and I'm honored to be a part of their journey!
